Isle of Arran, Scotland Monday 14 May 2018

The sun was out, and we set off early to drive for 3 hours to Ardrossan to catch the ferry to Brodick on the Isle of Arran. We bought a ticket and waited in the unbooked line hopefully to catch the 3:15pm ferry. The ferry is huge with 2 floors for cars and 2 floors for passengers and was full to the brim. We were very lucky to have made this ferry as there were 3 cars left behind. After leaving the ferry we drove along the town’s long curving crystal blue bay to our campsite for the night at Middleton Caravan Park
